The Coolest Place in My College

Chapel St.Robertus Bellarminus
Well, it's time to describe a place. This place is one of our (Devi and Lice) favorite places in Sanata Dharma University. We can pray there because it's silent. We also can play piano or sing here.Chapel St. Robertus Bellarminus is the chapel of Sanata Dharma University. It is located inside of the college, near from the college's parking lot. The chapel is facing to the south and surrounded by trees and small garden. Its main entrance is on the south of the building. From the main entrance, we can see altar directly. There are chairs which are divided into left and right side. The chapel's windows are unique because there are mosaics in each of the windows. Along the chapel's wall, there are 14 paintings of "The Passion of The Christ".
The cross is hanging on the wall behind altar. There are two statues in the left and right side of altar. Mary statue is placed on the right side, while Jesus statue is placed on the left side. There are candles in front of each statue. On the left corner from altar, there is choir area with organ and piano.
The chapel has a balcony which is facing straight to altar. The balcony is on the second floor. There are two downstairs which are heading to that balcony.
I think that's all what we can explain about the chapel. So, if you are Christian, you can go there to pray or just to calm yourself down. It's beautiful and peaceful.
It's about My Friend
This time, I want to describe my best friend. He is Vincentius Krisna Adi Sunarno. He was my classmate in Senior High School for three years. First, my friends and I called him Krisna, but now we call him Cizcuz and sometimes Tongki. He is medium height and slim. I think that he is not handsome, but he is a nice person. He is dark-skinned, short-wavy-haired, thin-lipped, and big-eyed. He likes wearing T-shirt and jeans, very simple person.Now, he is in Information System Faculty, Duta Wacana University. He wanted to study in English Education Study Program, Sanata Dharma University, but unfortunately, he was late for registering.
He likes listening to the music and playing guitar or bass. He has a band, underground band, and he is the bassist. I don't really like listening to his music, but I like watching him on the stage with his band, because it's the only time he looks interesting.
He is a humorist person. He likes joking and doing something strange, funny, or fool. My friends and I also like doing the same thing, so we always have a day full of laugh. He also likes playing games. He and my other friend came to my house and played Play Station for five hours. It was a long time for me to wait them playing the game. The other hobby is playing futsal. He is a quite good player.
Cizcuz and I have the same favorite food, fried rice. We also like noodle. Although I often treated him, he never treated me, but, sometimes he gave me chocolate or some snacks.
He often made some mistakes, and sometimes it made me angry. If he knew that I was angry, he never stopped to apologize by doing something funny that could make me laugh.
I think that's enough to describe him. I wish he was here, in PBI, so you can see him directly. Unfortunately, he is not here, but, may be sometimes I can introduce him to all of you and can be your friend, too.
I am Elisabeth Rosalia Widyanti
It's time to describe myself. I am Elisabeth Rosalia Widyanti. Some people call me Lisa but others call me Lice. I am 18 years old. I am medium height girl and everyone can see if I am fat. It makes everyone can remember me easily. I have wavy long black hair, slanting eyes, and a round face. I like wearing casual clothes. I usually wear polo shirt and jeans. I can not use make up at all.
I think that I am a cheerful person. I like joking with my family and my friends. So, we can spend a lot of time together. I am not easy to be offended, and I hope my friends aren't either. In my Senior High School, my classmate and I often to be warned by our teachers because we always made noises.
I like listening to the radio because I can get much information and a lot of new songs. Sometimes I also win some quizzes. My others favorite activity is watching cartoon, not other television programs. Television programs are now becoming meaningless. There are unreality shows, a lot of music programs, and many others. Television also wastes a lot of attention and time if we like it very much.
I am a rather lazy person. I love sleeping and doing some not important activities. Actually, I like studying but if the lessons go to be hard, I will give up easily. I love my bedroom, I feel comfort there. I am also extravagant. Shopping and treating my friends make me happy. Last time, I really liked seafood, but now I am trying to be a vegetarian. Crispy fried banana and noodle become my favorite food.
I love family and my friends. They all are my precious jewel in this world. So, I must do the best thing for them, especially for my family. I also try to make my friends to be happy.

My Trips
I had some trips. Some of them were to Jakarta, Bandung, Kudus, Cilacap, Bali, and many more, but I can't remember. I can't tell one of my trips completely, because it's hard to remember all the activities there. So, I will tell the parts of my trips, which are my special experiences.I went to Jakarta about three times. We (my family and I) visited my uncle's house there. I really wanted to go to Monas, but unfortunately, the ticket was sold out. I didn't really enjoy my trip to Jakarta because there was very hot.
The second trip that I want to tell you is to Bandung. I don't know why, but I just remember about the comfort train, cold villa, Kartika Sari, and batagor. I really enjoyed my time in the villa. It's very nice to be there. And I like Kartika Sari bread, it's very delicious.
The next trip's Kudus. I went to Kudus to attend my aunt's wedding party. It's a nice party. But I didn't visit any tourism object there. And the other ordinary, not special enough trip is to Cilacap. I went to Cilacap with my mother and her friends. I remember that I have ever seen Nusa Kambangan from the boat. I thought that I could see the prison, but it didn't come true. I didn't go home with my mother and her friends, but I visited my aunt's house for some days.
And the last trip that I want to tell you is to Bali. I went there twice. Yeah, we went there to study tour. There are a lot of nice tourism objects. I don't say if I liked the villa, because the bus was more comfortable. Then my favorite objects are Teluk Penyu, Bedugul, and Kuta Beach. In Teluk Penyu or Penyu Bay, we can do many games, but we must pay for it. I like Banana Boat. It's really amazing. The other place is Bedugul. Bedugul is a lake located among some mountains. In Bedugul, we can ride a boat and go to a garden. It's very beautiful garden. In Kuta Beach, I saw the beautiful sunset and took some photos with the tourist.
These are my trips, and these are still in Indonesia. Then, I want to have some trips to the other countries.
English Welcoming Days 2009
On 29th – 30th August, 2009, English Language Education Study Program had an event called EWD. EWD (English Welcoming Day) is an event that welcome the new students of this study program. The event started at 9 a.m in the hall of Sanata Dharma University. First, we sang the jingle of EWD 2009 and did some games. But in this beginning of the event I was not enthusiastic yet. And than the next agenda was introduction of Process. Process is English Language Education Study Program's organization that has many programs. It took a long time. After it we had a lunch and then prepared to go to Wonogondang, the place that we had camping. I felt enthusiastic then.
We went to Wonogondang by bus, I was happy in the bus because I could take a nap there. This trip took time about one hour. We arrived in Wonogondang and directly we felt cold. After all of us had arrived we went to our own tent. The agenda of that afternoon were showing our yell and our talent show. In the talent show, we showed our joke. Cemara and I became a boxer. Some friends became the corners of a boxing ring, a referee, and a host. But something that made me feel confidence with our performance was the "pom-pom boys". My friends, the boys, became dancers with their tempting eyes, feminine make up, and funny movement. I was proud of them. I thought that it was very funny, but the audience was not uproarious like us. But it was not a problem for me, for us. And the show ended at 12 o'clock.
The next agenda was tracking. I hate this activity, activity that takes time in the night, because I am scared with ghost. We were the last group, so we had time to take a rest. Then, it was the time to our group. It was very cold and made us shivering. Then we started this "lovable trip". In this adventure we did some games. Although it was dark but I enjoyed this journey. And in the ending of this tracking, our senior washed our feet, the symbol of their "service". And I appreciate , respect to them.
It was a morning after we had done the tracking. And we got ready to the next activity, outbound. The first game I called it tarzan, but I don't know the real name. We moved from the side of a pool to the other side by a rope. I failed in this game, but some of my friends did it well. The second one is leak pipe. And our group won this game. The third is Berlin Wall. This is my favorite game. We could do it well although I though it was a hard game, and we won again. Next, crocodile. I hate this game. It was a difficult game, we lost. The next game is walk on the bamboo. I like this game, but I fell to the water. But it's ok, I still like this game. The next two games, I don't know the name, and I don't like because it is full strategy games.
And the last one was boxing on the bamboo. The boxing used pillows. I didn't participate. It was for boys. It's a funny one, because there were some incidents and a lot of funny expression from the participants.
I enjoyed the jingle, the tracking, the outbound, the talent show. I love our togetherness, our solidarity. Thanks for our senior that made this event.
